Mystical Wiring
Prayer is about making conscious contact with God. Let's face it: we crave such contact and fear it's impossible. The charismatic tradition has opened up a new (old) channel to experiencing God but there's more to conscious contact than that. The monastic tradition and the Eastern church with roots in the biblical tradition itself contain resources to meet this craving through silence, solitude and the more contemplative dimensions of prayer. Human beings are mystically wired; we're designed for conscious contact with God. This page contains resources to understand and explore that reality.
