What We Believe

Ann Arbor Community Church is a Jesus-centered, Bible-believing, gospel-oriented church. We affirm the central truths of the historic Christian faith as expressed in the Apostles Creed and Nicene Creed, seeing ourselves in a long line of generations taking part in the endless conversation between God and people.

We care passionately about social justice and the restoration of creation. Liturgical and spiritual practices are important to us, and we seek to value tradition while listening to the new ways in which the Holy Spirit is speaking to us today. We strive to be humble and transparent, and we welcome everyone as they are while expecting ourselves to be transformed through relationships with Christ. In theology and practice, we try to be honest and not avoid the tough questions. We are a centered set church, aiming to always be moving toward and becoming like Jesus in all things.
